People of Swat, NWFP not against girls’ education: JUI-S chief

KARACHI: Jamiat Ulema-I-Islam (S) Amir Maulana Sami-ul-Haq has said that security forces have replaced the educational institutions with their bunkers due to which schools are being targeted. He said this while speaking to Sindh Provincial Minister Shoaib Bukhari and other leaders of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) here at it headquarter in Azizabad on Monday. JUI-S chief said, “People of Swat and NWFP are not against girls’ education.” He further said that some internal elements backed by external conspiracies are trying to create unrest in the country. He said that whenever, any peace deal is agreed in NWFP, some external forces sabotage it. My visit to Nine Zero is aimed at uniting the religious and political parties of the country, he said.
